How to make an online product catalog from your inventory
5 min read · Updated October 22, 2026
A product catalog is a page that shows what you sell, with pictures, prices and whether it is in stock, without asking people to log in or order. If you already keep your products in Inventory & Orders, you do not need to retype them: the Catalog service reads your shop and draws the page for you. Here is how to build one and what to decide along the way.
Before you start
Put your products in Inventory with a name, a brand, a price and at least one picture. Give each one a category if you have many: visitors will use the category filter first.
A free account can build a draft with sample products to try the editor. Connecting your own shop and making the catalog public needs the Pro plan or above. Creating a catalog and saving changes cost a few credits each, and visitors reading it are always free.
Build the catalog in five steps
- Start from a template: choose the simple grid, the sidebar with filters or the showcase with a big banner. You can change everything afterwards.
- Arrange the page: the page is made of blocks (banner, text, products, links, footer). Drag them into the order you like, then open one to change it. In the products block you choose the columns, the card style and which parts of a card to show, and you drag them into the order you want.
- Pick the look: choose one of eight themes, change the three main colours if you want to match your brand, and set the corners, the font and the width of the page. The preview on the right changes as you do, for a wide screen and for a phone.
- Add your button: every product card can have a button with a link you choose, for example a WhatsApp message, an email or a booking page. Put {name} in the link and the product's name is filled in for you.
- Connect and publish: in Settings, connect your Inventory shop, choose the categories to show (or all of them) and switch the catalog to public. Share the link, or on the Business plan use your own address such as shop.yourcompany.com.
Decide what visitors should see
- Keep a product out of the catalog with the Show in catalogs switch on its page in Inventory, for example something you only sell in person.
- Choose how stock is shown: a label (in stock, low stock, out of stock), nothing at all, or hide products that are out of stock. The catalog never shows exact quantities.
- Pick the filters that help your customers: search, category, brand, price range, in stock only and the sort order. Fewer filters are better for a short list.
Keep it up to date
The catalog reads your shop live, so a changed price, a new picture or a sold-out product shows within a minute without touching the catalog. You only save the catalog itself when you change its layout, colours or settings.

Questions about this guide
- Can customers order from the catalog?
- Not in the catalog itself. Each product can have a button that opens a link you choose, such as a chat, an email or your own online shop.
- Do I have to enter my products again?
- No. The catalog reads your Inventory shop, so there is one list to keep up to date.
- Can I try it for free?
- Yes. A free account can keep one draft with sample products to try the editor. Publishing a catalog with your own products needs the Pro plan or above.
