Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-11-08
These terms are the agreement between you and Sukrit Thakur (India), which runs SoftwareTrinkets. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. Your account
You need an account to use most services. Give a real email address and keep your sign-in safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.
2. Credits and plans
The services are paid with credits. The price of every action is shown on the button before you use it, and your balance never goes below zero.
Credits are not money. They cannot be cashed out, sold or transferred. We may add or remove credits on your account (for example a gift or a correction); you can see the reason for every change in your credit transactions.
Credits do not expire while your account is active.
Plans (Free, Pro, Expert, Business) give you credits when you subscribe and again on each billing cycle, and set your limits. Prices, credits and limits are shown on the pricing and checkout pages and can change for new purchases; people who already subscribed keep what they pay.
3. Payments and billing
Payments are handled by our payment provider (Dodo Payments) on its own checkout page. Your card details never reach us. Taxes are handled as shown at checkout.
A subscription renews every billing cycle until it is cancelled. If a payment fails or a subscription is cancelled or expires, the plan ends and the account goes back to Free; credits already in the account stay.
Plans can only go up. You cannot buy a lower plan, or the plan you already have, while you pay for one. An upgrade starts at once and the old subscription is cancelled automatically. All payments are final, see the Refund Policy.
4. Using the services
You agree to use the services lawfully and fairly. In particular, you will not:
- use the Uptime Monitor, Auto Reports or any other service to attack, overload or scan a website or network you do not own or have permission to test, or to reach private or internal addresses;
- send spam or illegal, harmful or infringing content through the services, including through Forms (responses, replies), Status Pages (subscriber emails) and webhooks;
- use a form to collect data you have no right to collect, such as card numbers or passwords, or to trick people (phishing); or run a status page that pretends to be someone else's;
- point a custom domain at a form unless you control that address, or use the logo or cover image of a form for content you have no right to show;
- try to get around limits, rate limits, prices or security, or to read other people's data;
- share API keys or tokens in public places, or resell the services without our written permission.
5. Your data
The data you put into a service (monitors, reports, shop data, API keys and values) belongs to you. You allow us to store and process it only to run the services for you. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for having the right to use the data and websites you connect to the services.
If you use Forms or Status Pages, other people (people who fill in your form, or subscribe to your status page) give you their data. If you share a form with others, they can read its responses: you decide who gets access and are responsible for it. You decide what you ask for and why, so you are responsible for telling them how you use it and for following the data protection laws that apply to you. We process that data only on your behalf, to run the service. Form links and status pages are public: anyone with the link can open them, and you can delete a form or page at any time, which deletes its responses, files and subscribers.
6. Limits and fair use
Each plan has limits, for example how many requests an API or key can make per minute, how many forms, pages or responses you can have, and how many emails a status page can send. After the free monthly allowance, each form response costs credits; when you have none left, a form stops taking responses until you add credits or the month changes, and nothing already saved is deleted. We may slow down or refuse requests over a limit, and wrong sign-in or key attempts are limited per address.
7. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep the services running but cannot promise they will always be available. We may turn a service or a feature off, for example for maintenance, and we show a notice when we do. Scheduled work for a turned-off service waits until it is back.
Results such as uptime checks show what our servers saw at that moment. They are information, not a guarantee about your website.
If our own system fails an action, the credits for it are returned. A website that is down when we check it is not a failure on our side, and the check is still charged.
8. Chargebacks and disputes
If you have a problem with a payment, please contact us first. If you dispute a payment with your bank without contacting us, we may suspend the account and remove credits that came from that payment while we sort it out.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using the services at any time and cancel a subscription so it does not renew. To close your account and delete your data, write to us (see the Privacy Policy). If we close an account because it broke these terms, the credits left on it are lost.
10. Our responsibility
The services are provided as they are. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or lost profits, lost data or business interruption, and our total responsibility for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
11. Changes to these terms and governing law
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we tell you with a notice on the site or a message in your inbox. Using the services after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
